Dr Batchelor has been the Chief Medical Officer of the Australian Federal Police and the Department of Foreign Affairs and Trade and has recent clinical experience within the Australian Defence Force. Currently she is Deputy Chief Health Officer at the Department of Veterans Affairs. Her expertise includes workers compensation, fitness for work assessments, including for those in safety critical roles, risk management (particularly in the overseas environment), environmental health assessments and tropical diseases.
